Bill Barrett author of Bible Made Simple

Bill Barrett graduated from Walla Walla College in 1965 with a degree in mechanical engineering. A week later, he married Susan Powell. Bill's first love was God and the Bible. He also deeply loved his wife, son, and daughter. He worked as an engineer for Dings Company’s Magnetic Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until he retired at age 62. Bill had a very creative mind. He developed a solar garden tractor for plowing his large garden and was awarded several patents related to his work.

Bill was a student of God’s Word his whole life. As a Pathfinder leader, he developed a special badge for Bible Study. At one point, Bill reached out to all levels of the Church including a university to try to learn the best way to study the Bible. He was frustrated by the responses, so he decided to consult the Bible itself to determine how best to study it. Bible Made Simple was born out of this study. Over his life and especially in retirement, Bill dedicated a significant amount of his time to developing and teaching the unique Bible Study method (Bible Made Simple) God gave him. We are so blessed that Bill taught, wrote books. and recorded videos.

Prior to his death, Bill asked Lyndon Gallimore to carry on his ministry. Bible Made Simple is now a ministry of the Riverview Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
